Online Games
PS2
Here is my personal list of PS2 games I've tried out online. I would like this to be a complete list but I just don't have that kind of time. There is a complete list of online games here, but they don't tell you much information on certain features.

Notes: As of 03.06 there are literally 100s of players still playing Monster Hunter every night. The game is organized into Worlds, Areas, and Towns, with up to 8 people per town and 1 to 4 players can go on a particular quest at a time. The lack of USB headset makes communication difficult and the cumbersom "soft" keyboard almost necessitates a USB keyboard.

Notes: The coop mode for this game online is almost better than coop offline. Offline you are restricted to the same screen as your buddies. But online you can go whereever you want. The downside is that loading screens disable voice.

Notes: Very entertaining coop mode, though it's quite short with about 8 levels. (Less than 4 hours) Game server discontinued 1-13-06!

Notes: Standard PVP combat options. Deathmatch, Seige (capture enemy base), Capture the flag, etc. Voice chat is available during the game AND in the staging area before and after each game.

Notes: Entertaining coop mode. Unlike Champions of Norrath, you can't stray from your teamates, you are confined to a single screen. Also the menus are terrible, and downright awful online. Still, a worthwhile game to spend your time on.
